Refund Policy

Overview

Food and groceries: In accordance with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, there is no right of withdrawal for distance selling in individual deliveries of food and other groceries. There is also no right of cancellation for orders from corporate customers.

The customer can cancel his order before the collection has started by notifying the customer service during its opening hours. In accordance with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, there is no right of withdrawal applicable to distance selling in individual deliveries of food and other groceries. However, in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Consumer Protection Act, the customer has the right to cancel the sale of other products within 14 days of delivery of the order. Such consumer goods have a 14-day right of exchange and return for unused, in good condition and in intact original packaging against a receipt. The Customer may exchange or return the product in the store for which the Service Provider has placed the order. Product exchanges and returns are handled at the Service Provider’s customer service point. The right of exchange and return does not apply to food, gift cards or other service products and cosmetics.

Refunds

The customer is responsible to check their order which include products’ quantity, quality or any other defects upon arrival of delivery (Same Day of receiving the order). If the customer contact us at the same day, we can assess the situation based on the issue. If the customer contact us later than the same day we reserve the right to decline the request of exchange, return or any other request of compensation.

To start a return, you can contact us at hellotokyostreethelsinki.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@tokyostreethelsinki.com.
